Due Diligence Colt
“we look forward to getting him on the track”
Unnamed Colt – Due Diligence (USA) – Nellie Ellis (IRE)
Our new Colt trained by Ali Stronge out of his Castle Piece Stables in Eastbury, Lambourn. This Due Dilignece Colt is in great hands with Multiple 2-year-old winner Ali Stronge. Ali & Sam Stronge are one of the newest, most exciting young training prospects. Having only held their licence since May 2013, they already have amassed an impressive haul of winners on the board under both codes and this was highlighted in the Daily Telegraph as racing’s rising star of 2014!
His sire Due Diligence was a 3-time winner in his short career, who has been attracting the headlines lately – ‘Due Diligence made quiet the impression with his first runners in 2019 supplying 20 winners at a strike rate of 37% including two Group 3 winners and a listed winner’. He is a leading First Crop Sire and looks to follow this up in 2020 also.
His dam Nellie Ellis, who won twice at a 2-year-old and placed 4 times. Dam of two winners from 4 runners. Winners including Rockesbury & Showbizzy who both won two races at 3 years old.
Ali Stronge latest comments: “He is coming along really nicely and I am very pleased with how he is. He is a really straight forward 2-year-old. Each week we are stepping his work up and I am happy with his progression. He has a very good attitude, straight forward and knows his job very well. We look forward to getting him on the track.”
