Ribchester Yearling Filly

“Our Beautifully Bred 2020 Tattersalls Book 1 Purchase”

Unnamed Ribchester Yearling Filly – Ribchester x Fresh Mint

We present an exciting opportunity to take shares in our extremely attractive and very well-bred Ribchester yearling filly, with no training fees payable until 2021. She is to be trained by Ben Haslam in Middleham, North Yorkshire.

This extremely attractive and racey-looking youngster is out of the four-time winning mare Fresh Mint, a daughter of the great Sadler’s Wells. She has subsequently produced numerous winners since having her attentions turned to breeding, most notably the Listed winner Canary Row.

Fresh Mint is also responsible for the dam of this season’s Irish Listed winner Current Option.

The next dam Valley Song was a winning sibling of the Grp-1 Moyglare Stud Stakes heroine Preseli, the Grp-3 winner Kong, the Listed winner Mount Kilimanjaro and the 1,000 Guineas runner-up Snowfire (herself now dam of the stakes-winning and multiple US Grade-1 placed Model).

This truly exceptional distaff line is paired with the enormously exciting Darley sire Ribchester. The best ever progeny by the exceptional Iffraaj, Ribchester progressed from winning the Grp-2 Mill Reef Stakes as a two-year-old to winning four times in Grp-1 company and being crowned European Champion Miler twice.

He retired to Kildangan Stud at a covering fee of 30,000 for the 2018 breeding season and his first runners are awaited with great expectation next year. This has been reflected at the recent yearling auctions, with his progeny selling for figures including 350,000gns, 240,000 and 185,000gns in recent weeks.

With exceptional pedigree credentials complementing her obvious good looks, this filly seems every inch a star of the future.

With no training fees due until 2021 and affordable payment options to secure your initial payment negotiable, there has never been a better time to get involved!
